Mission Statement

SAI Healing and Education is dedicated to helping people who have been hurt in relationships with narcissistic or antagonistic individuals. We aim to understand these experiences through careful study and to create measurement tools that help professionals better recognize and respond to this kind of harm. Our goal is to make these tools freely available to researchers, therapists, educators, and advocates so that survivors everywhere can be better understood and supported. We want our work to reach colleges, clinics, hospitals, private practices, research centers, and domestic violence programs across the world.

Overview of Goals

The goals of SAI Healing and Education are to:

  • Develop clear, research-based tools to measure what is often called “narcissistic abuse,” and to better understand how these patterns affect relationships, families, workplaces, and communities.
  • Explore the differences and similarities with what happens to people who experience trauma, codependency, or general emotional distress.
  • Offer these tools at no cost to researchers, counselors, and helping professionals everywhere.
  • Use these tools to deepen understanding of how narcissistic and antagonistic behaviors impact individuals and organizations.
  • Build large research databases that allow collaboration and shared learning among professionals.
  • Translate these tools into other languages so people around the world can access and benefit from them.

Call to Action

For too long, people who have suffered from emotionally or psychologically unsafe relationships have either gone unseen and unheard or been blamed for their “role” in the relationship. Many people have struggled to find help, not because they lacked strength, but because the people and systems around them didn’t yet have the right language—or data—to understand what they were going through.

We want to change that. But to do it, we need to measure these experiences carefully, collect data, and share what we learn. Data drives policy and data drives change. Research like this takes time, collaboration, and resources. Your support helps make it possible.

When you give to SAI Healing and Education, you’re helping to build the foundation for real change—data that informs better care, stronger policies, and deeper compassion for those recovering from emotional abuse.

Together, we can make sure survivors are finally seen, understood, and supported with the respect and care they deserve.
